Rajasthan Education Department Announces RTE Online Lottery Result 2026
The Rajasthan Education Department has announced the RTE online lottery result for 2026, revealing that over 6.3 lakh applicants have participated in the process for free seats in private schools. This lottery system is a crucial mechanism under the Right to Education Act, aimed at ensuring access to education for underprivileged children.
Parents can check the lottery results on the official RTE Rajasthan website, rajpsp.nic.in. Selected students are required to complete document verification and report to their allotted schools between March 13 and March 21, 2026. The necessary documents for verification include an income certificate, domicile certificate, caste certificate, birth certificate, and a BPL card if applicable.
The application process for free admission in private schools under RTE in Rajasthan commenced on February 20 and concluded on March 10, 2026. During this period, a total of 19.92 lakh applications were received for admissions across 33,137 private schools in the state, indicating a high demand for educational opportunities.
Parents were allowed to select up to five schools during the application process. They can also change the order of their selected schools until March 16, 2026. This flexibility aims to accommodate the preferences of families as they navigate the school selection process.
Classes for all admitted students are scheduled to commence on April 1, 2026. Schools will continue to verify the documents of applicants until March 25, 2026. If any seats remain vacant after the initial round of allotment, a second phase of school allotment will take place on April 7, 2026.
Parents who have grievances regarding the admission process can register their concerns on the RTE portal until April 2, 2026. This provision is designed to ensure transparency and address any issues that may arise during the admission process.
The selection of students for free seats in private schools through this lottery system reflects the ongoing efforts to enhance educational access in Rajasthan. As the process unfolds, observers will be keenly watching how effectively the system addresses the needs of the applicants and whether it meets the expected outcomes for educational equity in the state.
