RTE Online Lottery Result 2026 Announced
The Rajasthan Education Department has announced the RTE online lottery result for 2026, revealing that over 6.3 lakh applicants participated in the admission process. This lottery system is designed to allocate free seats in private schools under the Right to Education Act, which aims to ensure educational access for all children in the state.
Selected students are required to complete document verification and report to their allotted schools between March 13 and March 21, 2026. The necessary documents for verification include an income certificate, domicile certificate, caste certificate, birth certificate, and, if applicable, a BPL card. This verification process is crucial for ensuring that the admissions are allocated to eligible candidates.
The application process for free admission in private schools commenced on February 20 and concluded on March 10, 2026. During this period, a total of 19.92 lakh applications were received for admissions across 33,137 private schools in Rajasthan. This high volume of applications underscores the demand for quality education in the region.
Parents had the option to select up to five schools during the application process, and they can still change the order of their selected schools until March 16, 2026. This flexibility allows families to prioritize their preferences based on various factors, including school reputation and proximity.
Classes for all admitted students are set to commence on April 1, 2026. Schools will continue to verify documents of applicants until March 25, 2026, ensuring that all selected candidates meet the eligibility criteria established by the RTE guidelines.
In the event that seats remain vacant after the first round of admissions, a second phase of school allotment is scheduled to take place on April 7, 2026. This additional round aims to accommodate more students and ensure that as many applicants as possible secure a place in the educational institutions.
Parents who have concerns or grievances regarding the admission process can register their issues on the RTE portal until April 2, 2026. This provision is part of the government’s effort to maintain transparency and address any potential issues that may arise during the admission process.
The selection of students for free seats in private schools through this lottery system reflects the ongoing commitment of the Rajasthan government to enhance educational opportunities for all children. Observers expect that the implementation of these processes will continue to evolve, ensuring that the Right to Education Act fulfills its promise of accessible education for every child in the state.
