The MP Board Class 5 and 8 results for 2026 have been released, showcasing high pass rates and substantial student engagement.

The MP Board of School Education has announced the results for Class 5 and Class 8, revealing a significant achievement for students across Madhya Pradesh. Approximately 2,368,000 students participated in the examinations held at 12,943 centres throughout the state, with the results declared at 1:30 PM on March 25, 2026.

The overall pass percentage for Class 5 stands impressively at 95.14%, while Class 8 recorded a pass rate of 93.83%. Notably, female students excelled, achieving a pass percentage of 96.19% in Class 5 compared to 94.15% for their male counterparts. Similarly, in Class 8, female students had a pass rate of 94.98%, while male students achieved 92.74%.

Shahdol division emerged as the top performer in Class 5 results, while Indore division secured the first position in Class 8. This year’s results were made accessible through the official website rskmp.in, allowing students and parents to view their scores easily.

In a notable improvement from previous years, the results were released three days earlier than last year, which was announced on March 28. This change reflects the Madhya Pradesh Rajya Shiksha Kendra’s ongoing efforts to enhance the efficiency of the evaluation process.

The evaluation of the examinations involved 110,655 teachers working across 322 centres, ensuring a thorough assessment of student performance. Marks were entered online through a mobile application after assessment, streamlining the process further.

Students who did not pass will have the opportunity to appear in supplementary examinations, providing a chance for them to improve their scores. This approach aims to support students in their educational journey and ensure they have the necessary resources to succeed.

As the education sector continues to evolve, the focus remains on improving student outcomes and maintaining high standards. The results from this year indicate a positive trend in student performance and engagement.

Details remain unconfirmed regarding the specific number of students who will participate in the supplementary examinations, but further updates are expected as the education authorities finalize the arrangements.
