In a significant development for cricket fans, tickets for the IPL 2026 opener between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad went live at 4 pm on March 24, 2026. The match is scheduled to take place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on March 28, 2026.
The M Chinnaswamy Stadium, which has a seating capacity of approximately 40,000, saw tickets priced between Rs 3,750 and Rs 47,000. However, fans were left disappointed as reports indicated that tickets sold out within minutes of the sale opening.
