Kolhan University has postponed its semester exams to facilitate the smooth conduct of the NEET UG 2026 exam, scheduled for May 3, 2026. This decision reflects the significance of this examination in India, where around 2.09 lakh candidates are expected to compete for a limited number of seats in medical courses.

The National Testing Agency will conduct the NEET UG exam from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM in offline mode. To accommodate candidates traveling for this crucial test, special trains will operate on the exam day. With 611 examination centres established across 27 districts, including major hubs like Jaipur, organizers aim to minimize logistical challenges for students.

The Examination Controller of Kolhan University stated, “The decision was taken to ensure smooth conduct of both university examinations and the NEET exam, while minimizing inconvenience to students.” This highlights how educational institutions are working together to support aspiring medical professionals.

Candidates must arrive at their respective exam centres at least 1–2 hours before reporting time. The NEET UG Admit Card has already been released, and it serves as an essential document for entry into the examination hall. Additionally, candidates should be cautious about carrying prohibited items such as mobile phones and electronic gadgets.

The NEET exam consists of 180 questions across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, totaling 720 marks. The marking scheme awards +4 points for correct answers and penalizes -1 point for incorrect ones. Observers note that candidates scoring above 650 may secure top ranks in this highly competitive environment.

This year’s NEET UG is not just another exam; it represents a critical gateway for many students aiming for careers in medicine. As they prepare, they face a mixture of hope and anxiety—how well will they perform under pressure?

With everything set in motion, all eyes will be on May 3rd. It remains a pivotal day that could shape the futures of many aspiring doctors across India.
