Faridabad has witnessed significant developments in healthcare with Yatharth Hospital’s revenue growth, alongside troubling crime incidents involving extortion and a fatal accident.

Faridabad has recently been in the spotlight due to notable developments in both healthcare and crime. Yatharth Hospital & Trauma Care Services Limited reported a remarkable revenue from operations of ₹3,205 million in Q3FY26, marking a 46% increase from ₹2,192 million in Q3FY25. This growth is attributed to the expansion of their facilities, including new locations in New Delhi and Faridabad, which contributed ₹279 million to the Group’s revenues.
In addition to the hospital’s financial success, the company also reported a profit after tax of ₹431 million in Q3FY26, a 41% increase from ₹305 million in Q3FY25. These figures highlight the hospital’s strategic growth and its impact on the local economy.
However, Faridabad is also facing serious challenges. A tragic incident occurred recently when Mayank Bhadana, a 24-year-old property dealer, died in a car accident while attempting to avoid a stray animal on Pali-Surajkund road. His SUV collided with a dumper truck, leading to his untimely death.
In a separate incident, two armed men opened fire outside a liquor shop, targeting a property dealer’s office in Faridabad. The attackers left behind extortion slips demanding a 10% share from the liquor business, threatening severe consequences if their demands were not met. They specifically demanded ₹50 lakh from property dealer Vinod Bhati.
The rise in crime, particularly extortion attempts, raises concerns about safety and security in the region. Local authorities are expected to intensify their efforts to combat such criminal activities, but the effectiveness of these measures remains to be seen.
