The BGIS 2026 semifinals have concluded, with Team Soul finishing first and securing a spot in the Grand Finals. The event showcased intense competition among top teams.

The semifinals, held in Chennai, featured 24 teams competing fiercely for eight coveted slots in the Grand Finals. Team Soul emerged as the standout performer, finishing first with an impressive 172 points and securing three Chicken Dinners.
Following closely was iQOO Orangutan, who finished second with 150 points and two Chicken Dinners. Genesis Esports rounded out the top three with 143 points, also achieving two Chicken Dinners.
The Grand Finals are set to take place from March 27-29, 2026, in Chennai, where the top teams will vie for a substantial prize pool of Rs. 4 crore. This prize pool was notably bolstered by fan engagement, with Rs. 2 crore unlocked through in-game challenges.
The semifinals not only highlighted the competitive spirit of the teams but also underscored the growing popularity of BGMI esports in India. The event showcased the talent and dedication of players, setting a high standard for the upcoming finals.
Teams that did not qualify for the Grand Finals will have another opportunity to compete in the Survival Stage, aiming to secure a spot among the elite teams.
