Asiya Andrabi has been sentenced to life imprisonment by a Delhi court for her involvement with a banned terrorist organization. Her associates received 30-year sentences.

The NIA initiated a probe into DeM’s activities following directives from the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.
In addition to Andrabi’s life sentence, her associates, Fehmeeda and Nasreen, received 30-year prison terms each. The court’s ruling underscores the seriousness of the charges against them, which included multiple provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and UAPA.
