The iGOT Karmayogi platform is set to enhance civil service training through a week-long initiative starting April 2, 2026.
Before the recent developments surrounding the iGOT Karmayogi platform, the expectation was that civil service training in India would continue to evolve gradually. Launched in 2020, Mission Karmayogi aimed to enhance the capacity, performance, and efficiency of civil servants across the country. However, the approach to training was often seen as traditional and lacking in engagement.
On April 2, 2026, a decisive moment arrived with the commencement of a week-long initiative known as Sadhna Saptah, organized by the Department of Personnel and Training, the Capacity Building Commission, and Karmayogi Bharat. The Sadhna Saptah will span seven days, concluding on April 8, 2026. Participants are encouraged to log in to the iGOT Karmayogi Bharat portal and complete at least four hours of prescribed courses.
