In Surat district, a ventilator was taken to the hospital from a garbage truck.
Due to shortage of ventilators, 34 ventilators were removed from the truck.

For the first time in Gujarat, more than 3,000 corona patients were registered daily.
On the one hand the number of patients is increasing while on the other hand there is a shortage of ventilators in the state.
The Gujarat government had ordered the supply of 34 ventilators from Valsad to Surat due to shortage of hospitals.
Following the state government’s order, the Surat Municipal Corporation had sent a garbage truck to Valsad to fetch ventilators.
District Collector of Salla Valsad R. R. Rawal said that he had received information that the ventilator was transported in a vehicle sent by Surat Municipal Corporation.
An inquiry has been ordered into the matter, he said.
