Sreesanth played his first competitive match in seven years on Monday

Indian fast bowler S Sreesanth who made a come back to competitive cricket on Monday. S Sreesanth picked his first ever wicket after seven year. He was named in the Kerala squad for the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy last month. He played his first match against Puducherry on Monday he bowled 4 overs and gave 26 runs and took 2 wickets

Sreesanth was banned by the Board of Contol for Cricket in India (BCCI) in August 2013 he was out of competitive cricket almost seven year due to spot fixing in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

However last year 2020 his lifetime ban was cut to seven years which got over in September 2020
